Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. She covers everything, from NASA, the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Kristin, her mother was one of NASA astronauts, and also an enthusiastic space lover, grew up immersed in the field. She served for five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. While covering the two impeachment proceedings against the president as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and the two administrations' attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects.
